THIS is the flashlight app I've been looking for! After finding the sweet spot for the sensitivity setting, I haven't had to open the app even once. Every time I give my phone a shake, the light turns on. I shake it again, it turns off. I don't have to hit the power button. I don't have to periodically open the app to turn it back on. It never turns on in my pocket from running or jumping. This is the functionally Android used to have built in without any hassle. It sits quietly doing its' job!

I was super envious of those Motorola phones that "I thought" were [unique] the "shake-phone-feature" for the Flashlight 🔦 From the very second I installed [this-app] it worked LIKE A CHARM! My Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G thanks you, as do I. Practically ZERO latency... Virtually, "on & off" in a nano-second! Fantastic. Simple and intuitive "hatchet" motion turns on the flashlight during any phone state. Adjustable sensitivity works well and I haven't had any false positives, and rarely miss activation on the first attempt. No issues with reliability on stock pixel with power management disabled for the app. No power draw issues. I like this solution far better than even my old OnePlus lock screen draw because this can be activated outside the lock screen and just feels very natural to use.
I have tried a lot of shake flashlights 🔦 and none of them have worked on my Samsung s10+ or my new Samsung s21 ultra. Finally, I have gotten a shake light that works exactly as it should. Thanks so much to the designers. It doesn't have all that crazy stuff like strobe or s.o.s. but if you need a light in a couple seconds and don't want to have to look for it this is the one, I promise you will like it.
I've been a Motorola phone user for MANY years, and I've come to rely on my flashlight feeling like its NOT a part of my phone. Meaning that I don't have to touch the screen in any way. I just pick up, shake-shake, and its on. Do it again and its off. Now that I'm not using a Moto phone, this app gives me that same feeling. Awesome!
